Doctor Christopher Dolan is a Commander in the United States Navy and currently works at the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia, where he serves as the Mohs Surgeon for their division of dermatology.

Doctor Dolan completed his undergraduate training at Bucknell University, where he majored in Biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude.  He then attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine, graduating in 1999.

Doctor Dolan has practiced medicine in the Navy for almost 17 years including being a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, he spent several years as a Naval Flight Surgeon taking care of Navy and Marine pilots and was the Navy’s Test Wing Flight Surgeon of the year for 2002 and 2003.  In 2008 he completed his residency in dermatology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and was selected to stay on as a staff dermatologist training future Navy and Army dermatologists.  In 2013, Doctor Dolan returned to postgraduate training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City to complete a Procedural/Mohs fellowship.  During this intensive fellowship Doctor Dolan performed over 2000 procedures, which included over 1000 Mohs excisions for skin cancer and numerous laser therapy and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Dolan is a board certified diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and is designated as a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as an associate member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons.
